Founded by Lewis Nevin in 2023, NuMuze is a community-based music promotion agency and blog dedicated to supporting and showcasing emerging talent across Ireland. What began as a platform for consistent artist promotion has grown into much more — we now run live events, host a podcast, and actively promote local bands, creating new opportunities for artists to connect with audiences and each other. At our core, we’re all about building community, celebrating creativity, and giving independent voices the consistent support they deserve.

lEWIS nEVIN - FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

NuMuze was founded in late 2023 by Lewis Nevin after a walk to college sparked an idea. While studying music in Derry but living in Ballymoney, Lewis realised that many of his fellow musicians had never even heard of the local bands playing just down the road. As someone who had been writing and producing music since the age of 14, with a background in singing, production, and theatre, he wanted to not only connect with the local scene himself but also give other artists the consistent support and exposure they were missing.

What began as a grassroots project quickly grew into NuMuze: a community-driven hub for music discovery, collaboration, and promotion that shines a light on emerging talent across Ireland.

“As someone who has been going to loads of gigs all over Belfast since moving up for university, I've been itching to get involved in the music scene and to be able to give a little back. Following NuMuze from the early days it sparked my interest when I heard it was expanding and so I got in touch with Lewis to see if there was any way I could get involved. When he came back to say he was interested in bringing me on board as a content writer I immediately said yes.

Now as the newest member of the NuMuze team I am excited to get stuck in and give back to the scene as part of one of the most loved music pages in Belfast!”
