ABOUT US AND MEET THE TEAM!
NuMuze is an award-winning music media, events, marketing and culture platform dedicated to championing emerging artists and supporting the growth of music culture across Ireland and beyond.
Founded by Lewis Nevin in 2023, NuMuze was created with a simple mission: to provide meaningful opportunities, exposure and support for artists at every stage of their journey.
Since launching, NuMuze has grown into a multi-faceted platform encompassing editorial coverage, interviews, live events, PR campaigns, social media management and marketing services. Through our work we have built relationships across the music industry and collaborated with artists, venues, festivals, promoters and brands all over the world.
Our coverage and partnerships include organisations and events such as The Great Escape Festival, RCA Records, Output Festival, Sound of Belfast, AVA Festival, Jameson, Stendhal Festival and Bluepool PR while continuing to shine a spotlight on the next generations of artists.
Lewis Nevin - Founder & Creative Director
NuMuze was founded in late 2023 by Lewis Nevin after a walk to college sparked an idea. While studying music in Derry but living in Ballymoney, Lewis realised that many of his fellow musicians had never even heard of the local bands playing just down the road. As someone who had been writing and producing music since the age of 14, with a background in singing, production, and theatre, he wanted to not only connect with the local scene himself but also give other artists the consistent support and exposure they were missing.
What began as a grassroots project quickly grew into NuMuze: a community-driven hub for music discovery, collaboration, and promotion that shines a light on emerging talent across Ireland.

"I entered the Belfast music scene at the end of my teen years and was absolutely blown away by the extent of talent and enthusiasm that radiated from every artist. After years of desiring to pursue my own career in music, it sparked an excitement within me I knew I wanted to be involved in.
I had been to many NuMuze gigs before I had the pleasure of meeting Lewis. It’s always so motivating to see someone with such drive for local artists and putting in so much work to help them thrive. When I saw Lewis was looking to expand, I immediately said I needed in.
I'm buzzing to be able to work within the Irish music scene to be able to promote and support local artists that I know put everything into their art. I'm also excited to be joining right before the end of the year so I can be a part of such a hard-working team that I know will thrive in the new year!"

“From a young age, I’ve loved attending gigs. When I began pursuing a career in film and photography, I realised I could be part of the scene I admired. My first involvement was when Lewis invited me to shoot a gig at Sandino’s, where I saw a community come together to support local talent. On the drive home, I knew I wanted to be involved again.
After moving to Manchester for my degree, I continued attending gigs of all sizes. Each one confirmed that this was the space I belonged in.
Soon after, Lewis invited me to join NuMuze, an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. It’s special to be part of a collective that champions local talent and underdogs. I look forward to creating memories and contributing however I can. See you down the front.”
